This plan walks you through filing the core motions that stop an eviction from moving forward, including challenges to service, defaults, and improper filings. You don’t need an attorney — the process is guided, structured, and designed for everyday people to follow.

Using our Motion Wizard, Upload Wizard, and Case Check tools, you simply file the correct motion, wait for the court or landlord to respond, and then take the next step shown in the plan.

The Simple Plan is ideal if:

• Your case has no unusual complications

• You prefer a clear, linear path without extra strategy layers

If the landlord or court escalates beyond these steps, you can always move up to the Master Plan for advanced defenses.
